Unfortunately, it should be admitted that due to wrong policies of ministry of education and cultural reasons, our students encounter serious cognitive problems and this has disappointed many parents.
Having learned 22 living languages absolutely without any teacher, gave this opportunity to Ali Pirhani, PhD, to contemplate learning process more deeply and this led him to move toward cognitive science. As a matter of fact, learning 22 languages was but a mere excuse for Ali Pirhani, PhD, and motivated him to carry out cognitive science projects and design cognitive exercises.
Having thoroughly considered problems of students (especially, those encountered in courses such as English language, mathematics, and courses which require good memorization skills such as literature), revealed this fact to research team of Pirhani Cognition Academy that these problems are rooted in perception and cognition.
For example, speaking is one of the most complicated problems of students in language learning process. It has been experimentally proven the main reason of weakness in speaking skills is that many of our students, especially children and adolescents, are not capable of defining words even in their native language. Defining words is one of the most prominent methods which boosts speaking skills as this method improves thought in native language and even second language. Word is the unit of thought and we have no other means to think with other than words. Hence, defining words will boost thought and speaking skills consequently.
It can seriously be claimed that the reason language learners face many problems in learning a new foreign language is that they have not developed necessary cognitive abilities to learn foreign languages. And it has countlessly been seen that if younger-than-six-year-old children start learning a second language before acquiring necessary proficiency in their native language, not only they undoubtedly fail to succeed in learning the new language, but also this can be a serious threat to their cognitive development process.
It’s better to give another example here to shed more light on importance of cognitive issues in teaching and learning processes. Weakness of most students in mathematics is due to their lack of full and precise understanding of problems. Thus, they are unable to solve them. Therefore, developing comprehension skills of students is of great importance in understanding math problems. Of course, there are some other problems students face in solving math problems including weak analytical and estimation skills.
The main target audience of this project are children and students. Unfortunately, it should be admitted that due to wrong policies of ministry of education and cultural reasons, our students encounter serious cognitive problems and this has disappointed many parents.

- Discover learning style (unfortunately, parents and education systems do not have a proper understanding of children and students’ learning styles and so much energy is wasted in learning process)
